The PTE1000 series is now available for export
in a stylish new case. It suits domestic
and light industrial environments. All connections
are available via connectors on the outside
of the case. So there is no need for the
installer to open the product. The right
side front panel is removable to reveal a
battery compartment. The same advanced features
are still available, as are the two models:
The PTE1013 single channel Bi-Polar output
and the PTE1023 dual channel conventional
output.
PTE1000’s may be linked to form
a "group"
to power multiple sectors using
Pakton's
Group Simultaneous Pulse technology
(patent
applied for).
The energiser places a very short, very high
voltage pulse on the fence live wires approximately
once every second. The fence is 'safe' in
that the pulse is too short to cause electrocution.
The PTE1000 energiser is powered from 12V
DC derived from a power pack or battery.
The integrated monitor is an "end of
fence" low voltage detector, meaning
that the voltage appearing at the far end
of the fence is run back to the monitor unit
via an extra wire.
